Fight against the Colorado potato beetle!

The most natural solution to combating Colorado potato beetles is to collect them regularly. Drop them one by one into a bottle of water with the neck cut off. This is long and tedious, but it's permanent for the victims. Sacrificing eggplant plants (Colorado potato beetles are very attracted to these) deliberately transplanted into the crop also works well. It all depends on the cultivated area, your available time, and how often you can get to the garden.

Among the natural methods, we can use an insecticide based on rotenone and purines such as ferns, nettles or tansy.

Not easy to apply but unstoppable for those who can do it: the “release of chickens”, great predators of Colorado potato beetles!
