Hungarian Blue Pumpkin and Bacon Quiche
Recipe for quiche with Hungarian blue pumpkin and small bacon pieces! Ingredients: Shortcrust pastry Hungarian blue pumpkin Bacon pieces An onion Goat or blue cheese 4 eggs 20 cl milk 20 cl cream Grated Emmental Wholegrain mustard Salt and pepper Poppy seeds and sunflower seeds Cook the bacon pieces with the finely chopped onions. Cut the pumpkin into thin slices and pre-steam for a few minutes. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the cream, milk, mustard and grated Emmental. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the pastry in a mold, arrange the bacon pieces, onions and the cheese of your choice. Spread the tart mixture over the top and then arrange the pumpkin slices on top. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and sunflower seeds. Enjoy!
