Vegetable grains pods

Grain vegetables, represented only by legumes (beans, peas and broad beans), have the power to fix and assimilate atmospheric nitrogen, thanks to the bacteria living on their roots. In addition, they release some into the soil when they decompose. They are therefore enriching crops and some are used as green manure.
