- Planting : Like all strawberry trees, the pink-flowered strawberry tree is planted in spring or autumn in well-prepared soil. It is best to leave a gap of 2 to 3 meters between plants to allow them to develop properly.
- Watering : Although the strawberry tree is drought-resistant , it is advisable to maintain moderate watering during planting and during the first few years. Once well established, the tree can tolerate dry periods without any problems.
- Pruning : Pruning is not mandatory, but it can be done after flowering to remove dead or misaligned branches. This helps keep the tree well ventilated and encourages the production of new fruit-bearing branches.
- Hardiness : The pink-flowered strawberry tree is very cold-hardy and can withstand temperatures down to -10°C , making it an excellent choice for regions with a Mediterranean or oceanic climate.
