Crowley Cranberry is an ideal ground cover plant for acidic and moist soils, often found naturally in peat bogs where it thrives in full sun, in moist soil. Its flowers, pale pink and shaped like a crane's beak, have earned it the name "cranberry". Its small evergreen leaves are shiny in season and turn dark red in winter. It fears excess fertilizer and drought.
The fruits are eaten raw or prepared as jam, compote, sorbet and juice.
For good pollination, it is recommended to combine at least two varieties.
