Yellow Bredy Mafana , sometimes called Yellow Brède Mafane or Para Cresson , is famous in Madagascar (national dish: romazava ) and throughout the Indian Ocean .
Para Cress (or Bredy Mafana ) is very well acclimatized in France . Its leaves , very surprising raw or cooked, with a spicy , peppery and refreshing flavor, provide, for a few seconds, an impression identical to that of a local dental anesthetic !
If the flowers of Bredy Mafana (or Para Cress ) are eaten, be careful , they have properties and a flavor identical to those of the leaves , but much, much stronger!

Sowing : very light, from April to July , in a warm and sunny location. Transplant from the end of June , 40 cm apart in all directions. Water frequently. Flowering from August to October .
