Red Bredy Mafana, sometimes called Red Brède Mafane or Brazilian Cress, is famous in Madagascar (national dish: romazava) and throughout the Indian Ocean. Very well acclimated in France, its leaves have a spicy, peppery taste and aphrodisiac properties. It is a strong, red variety.
Sowing
Sow very light from April to July, in a warm, sunny location. Transplant from the end of June, 40 cm apart in all directions. Water frequently. Flowering from August to October.
