BOIS BLANC RASPBERRY TREE - AB PLANT
rubus idaeus
The 'Bois Blanc' raspberry plant is a variety known for its ability to produce late fruits. Its raspberries, medium-sized, are dark red in color and juicy. Their texture is fragile, which requires delicate handling. The canes of this variety are moderately vigorous, with relatively little suckering. As is often the case for varieties grown in the mountains, 'Bois Blanc' is sensitive to high summer heat.
For optimal development, the 'Bois Blanc' raspberry plant prefers well-drained soils, rich in organic matter and slightly acidic. A semi-shaded exposure is recommended.
The fruits can be eaten fresh or used in various preparations such as jams, jellies, syrups, coulis and sorbets.
