ANNA AB ARCTIC DWARF RASPBERRY - PLANT
Rubus idaeus
The raspberry 'Arctic Anna' is a herbaceous perennial and ground cover plant, which disappears completely during the dormant period, from mid-November until spring. It adapts to a wide variety of soils, provided that they are well drained and not calcareous.
In addition to its fruit production, it is very decorative with its pretty pink flowers, particularly appreciated by bees. This raspberry bush is an excellent ground cover, resistant to cold, but sensitive to summer drought. Adding compost can improve the structure of the soil and promote its development.
Its small fruits, slightly sweet and tangy, appear in summer and are perfect to be enjoyed directly in the garden, although their harvest is often disputed by birds.
