'Wilder' is a variety of red currant that stands out for its vitality and very upright shape.
This bush, generous in its production, develops clusters of medium to long size. Its fruits, of a bright red, are of modest size, but offer a tangy and perfumed flavor. Their maturity reaches its peak in the middle of the season, which makes it a variety appreciated at this time. It particularly likes soils rich in organic matter, with a neutral or slightly acidic pH, and thrives in a sunny or partially shaded exposure.
