ZOLFINO DWARF SHELLING BEAN NT

The Zolfino dwarf shelling bean is an old variety originating from Tuscany, grown on the hills, its name means 'sulfur' due to the pale yellow color of its seeds.
Almost extinct in the 1970s, the Zolfino dwarf shelling bean has been rediscovered and produced again in its region of origin, it is enhanced cooked with truffles from the same terroir.
The small grains are round and have very thin skin but can nevertheless be cooked for a long time and are particularly digestible and creamy.
How to successfully sow dwarf Zolfino shelling beans
Sow 5 to 6 seeds in pockets arranged in a staggered pattern every 40 cm, in rows spaced 40 cm apart in well-drained soil, late in spring (April, May) or in regions with very mild springs.
This variety fears temperature variations and spring frosts.
Harvest the beans
Harvest approximately 65 days after sowing.
