A traditional Italian variety with blond-green foliage tinged with reddish-brown on the margins. It can be grown indoors all winter and outdoors in spring and fall. Harvest in 45 to 60 days. Good resistance to bolting.
Spring Head Lettuces
Sowing: Light planting in February or March in a nursery or under cover. Transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny position in fertile, humus-rich, fresh soil, 20 cm apart in all directions. Harvest approximately 2 months after sowing.
Summer and Autumn Head Lettuces
Sowing: light in a nursery from March to June, then transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny location in fertile, humus-rich and fresh soil, 25 cm in all directions. Harvest approximately 2 months after sowing.
Winter Head Lettuce
Sowing: light in a nursery from August to September, then transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny location in fertile, humus-rich and fresh soil, spaced 15 cm apart, in rows 25 cm apart. Harvest approximately 7 months after sowing.
