The Rosana coral lentil is a late-ripening variety of lentil distinguished by its bright color and delicate flavor. Native to India, this lentil is prized for its culinary versatility, including use in soups, broths, and salads. Its flavor is excellent and it doesn't produce black juice when cooked.
Rosana red lentils are characterized by their pinkish-orange hue, which becomes even more vibrant when cooked. Their tender, creamy texture makes them an ideal ingredient for a variety of dishes, from soups and stews to salads and side dishes.

Successful sowing of ROSANA coral lentils
Sow in the plains from mid-April and in the mountains from mid-April to mid-May. Avoid sowing in heavy or clayey soils. Favor well-drained and warmed soil.
Sow in pockets of 5 to 6 seeds, spaced 40 cm apart, or sow every 10-15 cm in rows spaced 10-15 cm apart, in well-drained, sunny soil. Sowing density 350 gr/m².
Rises in 6-8 days in warmed soil (15-20°C).
Harvesting coral lentils
Harvest in 120-130 days from July to September.
It is recommended to only shell the seeds as they are consumed to ensure good conservation.
