Myosotis sylvatica
Perennial or biennial with bright blue flowers from April to July. Plant in moist soil in partial shade. Its edible flower attracts bees. Traditionally used to highlight spring bulbs such as daffodils in undergrowth or lightly shaded flowerbeds. It can also be associated with Blessed Virgin Mary. It self-sows. Sow in a nursery from June to early September: in a tray of moist, light, well-drained potting soil. Do not cover. Maintain a humid atmosphere and a temperature of 15 and 20°C, in natural light. Germination in 14 to 30 days. Prick out the plants into individual pots. Let them grow in cooler conditions for 10 to 15 days before transplanting them outside in the fall, spacing them 20 cm apart. Direct sow in August at a depth of 5 mm, in rows 30 cm apart. Thin out to 20 cm.
