Vaccinium corymbosum 'Brigitta Blue' is a variety notable for its cold resistance and its compact, upright habit. It is ideal for small gardens and is also suitable for growing in containers.
During the spring, the shrub is adorned with decorative and slightly fragrant flowers. From mid-July, this productive shrub produces beautiful clusters of dark blue blueberries, whose berries, both round and firm, offer a tangy taste. Although the harvest does not last long, the fruits keep well in the refrigerator. In autumn, the foliage takes on bright shades of yellow and orange.
It prefers well-drained, moist moorland soil, and grows best in subdued sun or partial shade.
Blueberries have a sweet flavor, with a resinous and aromatic touch.
