BLUEBERRY SHRUB DARROW AB - PLANT
Vaccinium corymbosum
This variety of blueberries, late and adapted to warmer climates, produces very sweet dark blue fruits. Harvested from September to October, they are perfect for fresh consumption or in preparations such as jams.
Unlike other varieties, it keeps its leaves if the winter is mild. It prefers acidic soils, rich in organic matter and well drained. Mulching helps maintain moisture at the root system level, while regular watering is crucial.
The fruits, although susceptible to splitting in rainy years, are tasty and versatile, excellent fresh, in jam, pie or dried.
