BLUEBERRY SHRUB ESTIVE AB - PLANT
Vaccinium corymbosum
This variety is characterized by its ability to produce an early harvest, highly valued for its unique flavor.
From June onwards, it produces small, intense blue, almost black fruits, with a slight acidity and a subtle tannic touch. It is strongly reminiscent of wild blueberries, while retaining the productive advantages of shrub blueberries.
The bushes, of moderate vigor, have flexible branches which take on reddish reflections, while their dark green leaves take on a red tint in autumn.
They require acidic soil rich in organic matter, which allows good water retention. Organic mulch is also recommended to keep the soil cool during the summer. Very sunny exposure is necessary for fruiting.
