BLUEBERRY TIFBLUE AB - PLANT
The 'Tifblue' blueberry is a shrub particularly appreciated for its fleshy, sweet fruits and renowned for its generous productivity.
Its berries, of a good size, are to be harvested between the beginning of September and mid-October, a period when the tree also reveals deciduous foliage with bright autumnal hues. Its flowering is not only attractive, but it also contributes to the decoration of the garden. However, this delicate plant prefers acidic soils, rich in organic matter, offering good water retention. Calcareous or arid soils, as well as high heat, are unfavorable to it. Mulching is also recommended to keep it cool during the summer. Although it tolerates shade, direct sunlight is essential to ensure good fruiting.
