NEMATODES AGAINST THE BOX TREE MOTH
Nematodes are microscopic worms that live in the soil. They move through the soil in search of insect larvae, which they penetrate and parasitize by multiplying inside, thus causing their death. Once their target has been eliminated, the many nematodes that have developed go in search of other prey and continue to clean your garden relentlessly! Nematodes exist naturally in soils but rarely in a sufficient way to combat pests. By increasing their density in the soil, you ensure effective protection for your plants. Nematodes do not pose any inconvenience to humans or domestic animals. Nematodes will help you naturally treat your box trees from the box tree moth. Treatment with nematodes is done curatively as soon as the larvae appear in the box tree when the temperature reaches 10 to 12°C. Nematodes against box tree moths should be used as a cure as soon as the larvae appear in the box tree. Pour the powder with water into a sprayer and then spray early in the morning or evening, preferably in humid weather (not in heavy rain which could disperse the nematodes) outside but especially inside the box tree which will retain moisture better. Be careful, do not spray the nematodes during the day or in full sun because they would not survive drying out. The most important factor for good action of the nematodes is humidity. Repeat the treatment at 1 to 2 week intervals to reach all the worms.
