An old Swiss variety of climbing snow peas, mid-early, with purple flowers, producing numerous small pods. Particularly tender and tasty pods. Fast growing, reaching 1 m in height, requires support. Commercially available since 1942.
Sowing from mid-March to mid-April in place, one seed every 2 or 3 cm in rows 30 cm apart or in pockets, 6 to 8 seeds per pocket, spaced 30 to 40 cm apart in all directions.
Butter the peas three weeks after emergence.
Harvest when the berries are well formed, the pods should still be green from June to early July.
