biennial

Very easy to set up and grow! Seeds are pre-spaced to allow for ideal plant development.

  • Nantaise Carrot : long root, sweet and mild red flesh. Resistant to bolting and splitting.
  • 18-day radish : Half-long root with a large white tip and a pinkish-carmine collar. A long, fast-growing variety. Harvest radishes to thin out and allow the carrots to thicken.

Culture Tips

The radish will grow quickly and will help mark the furrow, while keeping the soil moist for optimal germination of the carrots.
Harvest and consume as needed.

Sowing

Prepare the seedbed well: refine the soil, water the ground, place the tape, cover with a mixture of very fine soil and sand for a few millimeters, then water with a light spray.
Place a P17 type cover over the seedbed to keep the soil moist and prevent the surface from drying out. Keep moist until the seedlings are fully grown.

Composition of the Mixture

  • 50% 18-day-old Radish* (Raphanus sativus)
  • 50% Improved Nantaise Carrot 2* (Daucus carota)

(*Seeds from Organic Agriculture.)
