Format: Easy to cut to stagger harvests or to adapt to the exact dimensions of your land, planter, or raised vegetable garden. The felt mat is biodegradable and compatible with organic farming. Growing instructions are provided on the box (text and photos).

  • 20% Colmar Carrot with Red Heart 2*

Description of Varieties

Colmar Red Heart Carrot: A productive, late variety with large, long, conical roots and sweet, red flesh right down to the heart.

Touchon Carrot: Early, semi-long, straight and heartless. Its firm flesh is renowned for its exceptional flavor.

Nantaise Carrot: Coreless, with very sweet flesh and a mild taste.

Yellow Carrot from Doubs: Very productive and sweet, with a beautiful yellow color.

White Carrot from Kuttingen: Hardy and fast-growing, this variety produces white, aromatic, sweet, fine and tasty flesh.

How to Set Up the Carrot Mat?

  1. Implementation period: From March to June.
  2. Soil preparation: Refine the soil well and water the soil.
  3. Unfold and place the mat on the floor.
  4. Cover the carpet: Use a mixture of very fine soil and sand a few millimeters deep.
  5. Water with a fine spray.
  6. Keep the soil moist: The soil must remain moist until the seeds germinate. You can also use a P17 type fleece to maintain moisture and prevent the surface from drying out.
