This large, pre-sown seed mat saves you time in the vegetable garden with minimal thinning and much less weeding between seedlings. Quick and easy to use, unfold 6 rows of 3 varieties of carrots and 3 varieties of radishes in a single movement.

Size: 1 meter x 45 cm. It is easy to cut to stagger harvests or to adapt to the exact dimensions of your land, planter, or raised vegetable garden. The felt mat is biodegradable and compatible with organic farming.

Description of Varieties

Colmar Red Heart Carrot: Produces large, long, conical roots with sweet, red flesh right down to the heart.

Nantaise Carrot: A coreless variety with very sweet flesh and a mild flavor.

Rothild Carrot: Producing a large, heavy, fragrant, juicy root.

National Radish: Semi-early, with a round, bright pink root with a white tip, with firm, crisp flesh.

Easter Pink Radish: Beautiful pink root, long and regular, with firm and sweet flesh.

Flamboyant Radish: Half-long root with a white tip, of excellent taste quality.

How to Set Up the Carrot and Radish Mat?

  1. Implementation period: From March to July.
  2. Soil preparation: Refine the soil well, then water the soil.
  3. Unfold and place the mat on the floor.
  4. Cover the carpet: Use a mixture of very fine soil and sand a few millimeters deep.
  5. Water with a fine spray.
  6. Keep the soil moist: It is essential that the soil remains moist until the seeds germinate. You can also use a P17 type fleece to maintain moisture and prevent the surface from drying out.

Radish: 21 days after laying the carpet.
